Songs Too

Songs Too 32 years ago, I began work on the essays published as “Songs My Father Never Sang.” While I aimed that book towards my children, as means of clarifying their father’s view of the world. I hoped my view of ‘how the world works’ would be more widely embraced, but found few consonant souls. Bacon reminds that what we call truth is what we prefer. Within the decades, nonetheless, many publications and books supported my proposals. I wish to emphasize some theories developing during this interval in a slightly different scheme. These essays grew at random from the Samsara of daily life. Some react to what I foresee as dangerous pathways that the world seems to be following. Others are hopefully whimsical and ironic.
